Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

These Official Rules govern each monthly sweepstakes ("Draw") conducted by The Working Dog Drawing, LLC ("Sponsor"), Conway, Arkansas.

1. Eligibility. Open to legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible.

2. Entry period. Each Draw opens on the first day of the calendar month and closes at 11:59 PM Central on the last day of that month, or earlier if the Draw page states a fixed entry cap and that cap is reached.

3. Entry groups. Each Draw requires a minimum of seventy-five (75) entries to proceed. If the minimum is not met, the Draw is cancelled and all paid entries are refunded in full.

After the entry period closes, all entries in the Draw are divided into consecutive Groups of equal size, in the order the entry numbers were issued. The number of Groups is the smallest number for which no Group contains more than one hundred (100) entries. Where the total does not divide evenly, no two Groups differ in size by more than one entry. Each Group is identified by the Draw number and a letter — for example 10a, 10b and 10c — and the entry numbers making up every Group are published with the results. A Draw of one hundred (100) entries or fewer forms a single Group.

4. How to enter. There are two methods of entry, and both receive one entry with identical odds of winning:

(a) Paid entry. Complete the entry form and pay the posted entry contribution.

(b) Free entry (AMOE). Hand-print your full name, complete address, telephone number, email address and the Draw number on a plain 3" x 5" card and mail it in a hand-addressed envelope with sufficient postage to the free entry address posted on the Enter page. Limit one free entry per outer envelope, and the same per-person entry limit applies as for paid entries. Mail-in entries must be postmarked before the close of the entry period and received within seven days after it. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected mail.

5. Odds. Each entry is placed in exactly one Group and is eligible to win only within that Group. Odds of winning are one in the number of entries in that entrant's own Group, and can never be worse than one in one hundred. Additional entries received after an entrant's own do not reduce that entrant's chance of winning.

6. Winner selection. After the entry period closes, one winning entry is selected at random within each Group, using a publicly verifiable method. Sponsor publishes a cryptographic hash of a single random seed before the drawing and the seed itself afterward. Each Group's winning entry is derived from that seed together with that Group's letter, so any entrant can confirm from the published seed that the result was not changed after the fact. The drawing is streamed live.

7. Winner notification. Each winner is notified by email and telephone within three business days. If a winner cannot be reached within seven days, or is ineligible, an alternate winner is selected at random from the remaining entries in that same Group.

8. Prizes. One (1) prize is awarded per Group, as described on the Draw page. Where a Draw forms more than one Group, each Group awards a separate prize identical to the prize described on that Draw page. A prize is not transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent is offered except at Sponsor's discretion where the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prizes are shipped within the fifty United States at Sponsor's expense.

9. Taxes. All federal, state and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners of prizes valued at $600 or more will be issued an IRS Form 1099-MISC and must supply a completed Form W-9 before the prize ships.

10. Publicity. Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use the winner's first name, last initial, city and state for promotional purposes without further compensation.
